ABOUT HER OWN VENTURE

IT STARTED WITH HER.

THE WOMAN BEHIND HER OWN

Farzaana Salma Khan is an author, founder, healthcare professional, educator, and the woman behind Her Own Venture LLC.

But before any of those titles, she is a woman who knows what it feels like to have pieces of herself waiting to be reclaimed.

Her Own Venture grew from that idea: that women deserve the space to hear their own voices, create what has been sitting on their hearts, and choose what comes next for themselves.

As the author of Under the Midnight Moon: Luna, Farzaana took her own story from an idea to a published book—learning the writing, editing, design, formatting, and publishing process firsthand along the way. That experience ultimately became the foundation for Her Own Publishing, where she is building a publishing home centered on helping women bring their own stories and ideas into the world without losing the voices that made them worth telling.

Through Her Own Venture Academy, Farzaana takes that mission a step further by teaching women what she has learned through experience—including how to move from a book idea toward a finished manuscript and understand the publishing process with confidence.

Her work is shaped by more than entrepreneurship. She brings years of experience in healthcare, education, training, and creating learning experiences designed to make complicated information feel approachable and useful.

At the center of everything she builds is one belief:

A woman should never have to abandon herself to become who she is meant to be.

Her Own Venture is where Farzaana brings all of those pieces together—storytelling, education, creativity, publishing, and community—while creating room for women to build something that feels unmistakably their own.

HER OWN VENTURE LLC

BUILT FOR WOMEN READY TO MAKE SOMETHING THEIR OWN.

Her Own Venture began with a simple belief: women deserve the space to create, explore, and pursue the things that matter to them.

Sometimes that's a story she's been carrying for years. Sometimes it's finally writing the book. Sometimes it's learning something new, building an idea, or simply deciding that the thing she keeps thinking about deserves a chance to become real.

That's what Her Own means.

Today, Her Own Venture brings that belief to life through Her Own Publishing, where women can take their stories from manuscript to published book, and Her Own Venture Academy, where women can learn, create, and develop the skills to bring their ideas forward.

And we're still building.

Because Her Own Venture was never meant to be about one product, one program, or one path.

It's about what becomes possible when a woman decides to make something her own.
